Walking down the streets of Seattle, it doesn’t feel like I moved here.
Space Needle and Mount Rainier
There’re no longer tree branches when I look out my window – instead I can see an office clearly. Buzzing sounds alarming pedestrians of cars replaced the chirps I hear in the morning. I don’t come home anymore to cooked meals, nor do I wake up with breakfast ready. The mornings are chilly that I can’t go out without a jacket. My laptop is still three hours ahead.
Toronto seems so far far away.
